We meet friends there every couple of months. The breaded pickle appetizers are, indeed, very habit forming. Fish on Friday nights is also excellent. It is not unusual to have to wait for a table on Friday or Saturday nights if you get there much after 5:30. The Pickle Barrel is located in the small village of Willis, Michigan, just south of Ann Arbor but it is easy to get to off I-23--just take the Willis Road exit south of Ann Arbor. The only real criticism I would have is that their parking lot needs to be paved-- or at least, the potholes filled in. Other than that, our dining experience there is always pleasant and the wait staff is always very accommodating.
