Perhaps it was a bad night, but the rice was a cold lump and the shrimp was not de-veined. It made me feel physically ill and my husband rated it simply as "slop." Will not be going back. 9 bucks a plate is too much for such poor quality and presentation.

yes pepitos on university is good but try the one in northport..its bigger and the atmosphere is great especially if you sit at he grill and watch your food being prepared!

Like so many others here I used to lived in Tuscaloosa and never knew what I had until it was gone. I now live in Atlanta and eat at Taco Casa every time I go home to T-Town to see the family.

PEPITOS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST MEXICAN DINNING EXPERIENCES IN TUSCALOOSA....THERE FOOD IS DIVINE IVE EATEN AT THE PEPITOS ON UNIVERSITY FOR 9 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE....THE RESTAURANT HAS LIMITED SEATING AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS LACKING BUT THE FOOD AND WAITSTAFF ARE ALWAYS GREAT
