Perhaps it was a bad night, but the rice was a cold lump and the shrimp was not de-veined. It made me feel physically ill and my husband rated it simply as "slop." Will not be going back. 9 bucks a plate is too much for such poor quality and presentation.

yes pepitos on university is good but try the one in northport..its bigger and the atmosphere is great especially if you sit at he grill and watch your food being prepared!

PEPITOS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST MEXICAN DINNING EXPERIENCES IN TUSCALOOSA....THERE FOOD IS DIVINE IVE EATEN AT THE PEPITOS ON UNIVERSITY FOR 9 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE....THE RESTAURANT HAS LIMITED SEATING AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS LACKING BUT THE FOOD AND WAITSTAFF ARE ALWAYS GREAT

Excellent in every manner. These people must have been trained at the Ritz. Not what I expected in Tuscaloosa. Heavy wine list, food plating was first class, and the service was.. well, I heard my pleasure enough times t
