Quite possibly one of the friendliest and tastiest Chinese restaurants in Santa Cruz, the Pearl Chinese restaurant was tragically closed in July 2005. Known for its great deals on delicious chinese food, the Pearl was a neighborhood meeting place with a great staff and friendly owners. Although they have not found another location yet, look for the owners, Ping Pan and Kie Wai Lai, to open up a new restaurant. Go ahead and try the food, you'll be pleasantly suprised.
