After having a fine breakfast here, last year... we were disappointed in their dinners. I had the fried catfish...some of the worst I've ever had. Maybe they don't know how to fry fish in this part of Illinois?? The waitress tried hard but was trying to cover too many tables...

We had breakfast here...my wife ordered one egg, hash browns, and ham...for $2.76. When her order came, she couldn't believe it! The slab of ham was 3/4 inch thick and six inches around...at least. We had never seen anything like it. Talking to one of the "locals" later...we found that all meals are done this way...as she said, "I don't know how they stay in business."
