A diner from Orange Beach, AL Apr 2, 2011
I arrived hungry, but never have eaten here before so I thought I would give it a shot. Me and my husband were told to go take a seat where ever we wanted. It was very quite and there was none of there hanging tvs were on except the one in the front and no sound and no music. It was very quite, not really a good atmosphere. The waitress was new and admitted she never tried any of the food before and looked like she was just pushed out on the floor. The menu was kinda all over the place. It claimed to be a sports bar and family restaurant and there were only three different kind of wings sauces. I didn't know what to order so I ordered an appetizer to start off with. I got the knockout bucket and it took a few minutes to come. It consisted of some chicken strips, fried shrimp, fried pickels, and some buffalo wings. The pickles were good but had not been friend long enough and were pale in color. Thr ckicken strips and shimp could have gone longer as well. The buffalo wings were ok but the chicken tasted dry and the sauce tasted cheap. The broccoli appeared to have been frozen and the same for the carrots and were greatly lacking in color. The problem with this place is that have cheap food and spent way to much on decoration and looks and not enough on there food quality or execution. People should leave remembering the food not the beautiful colored plates they came out with. Its truely sad, but this place wont be open long and it does have great potential and is located in a great place. I did order plate of wings to take home, but the hubby was so upset with it he decided to pass. The wings I just tried to eat an hour later and they taste gross so I wasted my money and time on this one! Just wanted to help people out so they don't try it out and waste there money as well!
