When I visited the restaurant at Osprey Point this past summer my experience was superb from start to finish. The service, food, and atmosphere were exceptional. My boyfriend and I were seated immediately upon our arrival (we did make a reservation) and sat at a table adorned with beautiful fresh cut flowers. We each started off with a delicious salad, for our entrees I had the lamb and my boyfriend had the scallops. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the potatoes served on the side were delicious; however, nothing topped the scallops! The three huge scallops were caramelized wonderfully and we were surprised with how substantial the portion size was. As I understand the dessert menu changes regularly but we tasted the flan, panna cotta, and cannoli. The flan and panna cotta were excellent. After dessert we had coffee and cocktails and were allowed to relax and chat, which was nice instead of feeling like we needed to rush out (we were later in the evening). All courses were served quickly and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. A nice bonus to the meal was that the chef came to our table to introduce himself and make sure we were happy with the meal.
Overall, I would highly recommend Osprey Point and the scallops! I hope to visit again soon.

We have enjoyed the restaurant over the years but the quality of the food has gone down hill. We have heard the same from other patrons. If it doesn't improve, we won't eat there anymore.

We were there on June 30th, 2007 with 18 people.
The service and food were great! We were in and out in an hour and a half, which never happens with this size group.
