The food was average to good for sushi, appetizers, etc. in both presentation and quality. It's the deceptive service that earns this restaurant low ratings! I have been there at least 4 times but stopped doing business with them because the owners' wife (co-owner) who is a waitress/cashier is very dishonest when it comes to billing. We ordered a single-serve bottle of wine which was listed at about $4.50 on the menu but was shown as $7.50 on the bill! When asked about this the co-owner said it was a better quality wine than the one listed on the menu. The correct price had been scratched off the bill and was replaced with the $7.50! We didn't argue this time and let it pass. Big mistake! She thought she could get away with this again. On the next visit 2 beers were listed on the bill when only one was ordered. Their daughter working the cashier that night corrected it without argument. The third visit 2 sushi rolls that were never ordered were on the bill. I argued with the co-owner wife and she removed them very reluctantly. (I had written down on a napkin what items we ordered for later comparison.) Believe it or not we returned once more and this time - after 3 overcharges - the bill was correct. I guess she figured out she couldn't get away with this with our group. I haven't been there in the last 2 years. If you decide to go scrutinize your bill VERY closely!!!
