If you like Italian food, the choices are limited in Ellensburg. There is Ellensburg Pasta Company and few pizza joints, and several of the more upscale restaurants offer some pasta dishes but overall we've been very disappointed. We'd heard that Morelli's Cafe Italiano was a nice, family-owned place, so thought we'd give it a try. They have an excellent reputation as a lunch spot, but we were told by friends to try it for dinner. I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the menu had a lot of interesting as well as traditional Italian dishes to pick from. I'd definitely recomend it, and we will be back next time we're in the mood for some good Italian food.
