I would strongly suggest avoiding this restaurant at all costs! It had nothing to recommend it. Décor was tacky, food was horrible, and service was horrendous
The Szechuan chicken was simply plain & boiled. All they did before serving it was that they poured some bland sauce on it which by no means would be considered Szechuan!
The waiter brought out dipping sauce when we sat down, we thought it was for crispy noodles which never came. We asked, & were told it was for appetizers which we didn’t order. So it was just left on the table to remind us that we didn’t order any.
The waiter had no social skills! He seemed like a busboy/dishwasher who was handed a notepad and thrust into the dining room. He could not answer any questions about the drinks menu. The waiter wouldn’t ask us what we wanted he would just stand over us with a scowl and wait until we gave him our orders or told him we didn’t want something. He even stood over us & waited while we signed the receipt & entered the tip.

A favorite haunt of late nite drinkers is the bar at Mon Kou. The food isn't the greatest anymore, and the service has dropped from years past.
