This place is great, period. There new paint on the outside of the restaurant makes it very inviting. Food is always great, best around. Service has definately gone up a lot lately. WELL worth the money spent. Ive gone for years and will continue for a long time. If more places could be like Momma D's, life would be a whole lot better!

Love, love, love this place! Not a month goes by without thoughts of their mini seafood marinara. My husband and I have actually taken the 250 mile round trip JUST to have lunch there (.)! We're hooked! I've been there 3 times to have the seafood marinara for breakfast. It's that good. I've tried to replicate it but no luck. It's also a favorite stop for the early bird hunters that meet there once a year for breakfast. Never a disappointment and always a gut-buster meal. I'm a Yankee/New Englander with no Italian gene pool and will critique it as such. For those who have "issues" with what's Italian and what's not, who cares - it's absotively delicious?! There was also a comment about being asked to fill out a form. Too bad you past on it. You missed a free birthday meal! And to the one comment sent about the food not being flavorful/spicy enough, why don't you just ask for a bottle of hot sauce to pour over it, with some ketchup, and mayo for kickers. You're obviously not interested in the taste of real food. I swear, if I were given my choice of a last meal, it would have to come from Mama D's. Yum.

Love this place, great service and the staff are like family. The food is very good, even when you're full, you just have to have one more bite!

The food was great! There were three adults for dinner. We all loved our meals and the large portions. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We were impressed with the variety of the menu and the cleanliness of the entire rest.
We will definitely go back often when in the area!

I disagree with the negative revenue from February. While the food may not seem fancy, it is very good basic Italian food. The ingredients are always fresh and the food is very tasty and well prepared. The choice of the house salad (which could be a meal in itself) or the soup (which changes all the time) to accompany most meals brings the basic meal to a meal with verity. As for the price, I believe the amount of food received for the cost makes it a good value.
In addition this home grown restaurant has a very friendly staff that makes it a pleasant place to eat.
And lastly, as any regular will be able to tell you, this local business does many things to support the community in which it lives. I will take this quality restaurant over an Olive garden any day (I do like the Olive garden too but not as much as this eater)

Good portions for dinner, but food is flavorless & expensive for the quality. Every other Italian restaurant in the area seems to be better.

This is a place to eat if you can't cook real Italian food at home. It is 2 steps up from Chef Boyardee in a can. Renaldos is much better, just ask my Italian Grandmother.....

We love Mama D's. We come at least 2 or 3 times a month. Food is fresh and delicious. Good specials and desserts too! We always have more that we can eat and get a take home bag. Mama's is a great community supporter as well. D & K from Durham NH

This place serves "Italian food" for those who've never had Italian food. We just returned from Momma D's and what a mistake! This was the worst $50.00 lunch my wife and I have ever had. The minestrone was like stewed canned tomatoes with a few canned green beans thrown in - no flavor. The alfredo did not taste like it contained any cheese whatsoever. The teenage waitress talked to us like we were children and then asked us to be on a mailing list. This place has all the telltale signs of a failing restaurant cutting corners. Don't waste your time or money.
