I found the food to be great in smoked flavor, the service was fast and friendly, i called ahead and the food was ready when i got there. i only get 30 min for lunch and this is great, i eat there all the time. i love the bbq chicken.

Michaels is a Drive-Thru type restaurant. There are a couple of picknic type tables outside for those nice days, most simply drive thru. They serve the usual accompaniments alonf with BBQ. They also offer frie dchicken and home made peach cobbler. My grandson says the cobbler is especailly good. The BBQ I have personally tried is limited to the pork sandwiches. They are generous in portion and pretty good in flavor. The sauce is of a slightly orange color and is slightly sweet. Reminds me of South Carolina BBQ.
I would rate it as one of the best in the Albany area. The slaw is also pretty ggod. Even though you are served through a drive-thru window the people have always been friendly and the service fast and accurate. I eat there often. It is located near Darton College.
