I’m just your average Joe that enjoys a good meal. My experience with Meyers Country Cottage and Irish Pub was outstanding. The salad was basic lettuce, tomato, onion, croutons, bacon, and egg. But the beauty of the salad was due to the fact that none of the flavors were overwhelming and the size was just enough to make you want more. I had the red beans and rice and was delighted with the flavor and touch of spice; again, no one food item overpowered the other. The food portion was more than ample and on a positive note, the food was HOT (temperature hot). The rooms are small and cozy, and the atmosphere is quaint. I haven’t been to a restaurant in a while where I have walked away saying “That was awesome.” But with Meyers Country Cottage and Irish Pub … I did just that. It was awesome.

Meyer's has an excellent walleye sandwich. The people that work there are very friendly and accomadating. I especially like the fact that it is an old house made into a restaurant. Seating outside is great on a cool day.
