My Dad owned a deli and sub shop, and I'm a big fan of subs. I've eaten them all over the country (under many different names) and I even worked making subs, so, I consider myself something of an "expert" on the subject. I've been buying subs at Maxies now for 30+ years. They may not be the most attractive place, they don't use the highest quality products, they can be less than cordial. BUT, they are the absolutely BEST value in sandwiches I've ever encountered! These are BIG, full sandwiches. The ingredients may not be gourmet but they are fresh, they are made to order, they are satisfying, and they are surprisingly low priced. It ain't perfect, but it is strongly reccommended!

This is one of the best sub places in the area to get good food for your money! lots of meat and veggies....Love their food and they always have such good specials

Wow, I can see why this place is inexpensive... I went in for lunch and the woman taking my order barked, "What do you want?" in such a thick German accent that I could hardly understand her. She then proceeded to make my sandwich with bread I had just seen her drop on the dirty floor! She got mad at me when I asked for new bread. Bad service and bad sanitary conditions!

My husband and I went to eat pizza at Teds for the first time ever a few weeks ago. What a wonderful experience we had! The pepperoni pizza was the freshest we have ever eaten and the wait staff were truly down to earth.

this bakery is the most amazing place ever. not only is the pizza delicious but the workers are amazingly beautiful and polite. the owner is the friendliest man and makes the best food known to all man. 5 stars!

I started with the nightly special soup which was corn chowder, it was loaded with potatoes, and totally bland. For my main course I ordered the Vermont Roast Turkey, what I was served was some big lumps of watery turkey
