After pumpkin picking we looked online for a restaurant in Twin Lakes, found Mad Dan's which showed 5 stars in eight reviews. We had 13 people in our party, infant to senior, If we could have given more than 5 stars we would have. Food, Service and appearance were excellent and plan on returning soon.
Their "Beef" Sandwich (Sliced Prime Rib) slathered with melted Cheese, etc. IS THE BEST! UNLIKE ANY OTHER!! JUICY, TENDER, and MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH! TOTALLY AWESOME! TOTALLY AFFORDABLE! LOVE IT!

Although we miss boating to the old Mad Dan's on Lake Elizabeth, the new Mad Dan's is great! Great food...great staff...great service! This family restaurant with a Northwoods flair is now located right in town next to Stan's Lumber. Sue & Ken Perl are fabulous, friendly hosts and the familiar staff takes pride in servicing the customers with a smile! Bubbly bartender, Kelly, is a breath of fresh air! Many of the old favorites remain on the menu along with other fabulous additions. Don't miss the Friday night fish fries or all-you-can eat crab legs on Thursday nights! Yummy!
