I never write reviews. I don't mind paying premium prices for great food and great service. Our recent experience at Mackinaws was very disappointing. The service was great, but the food was extremely disappointing. My wife got the half chicken meal. She had me taste it, because she couldn't believe it. It had that old reheated meat taste to it. I got grilled chicken fettuccine, and it was mediocre at best. The chicken was rubbery, and very bland. No flavor at all. Maybe we should have ordered steak. At least it would have been cooked fresh.
