In two-and-a-half years of weekly dining at Lovejoy's I've never been disappointed. The food is marvelous, original, all prepared by the owner/Chef. The locals agree that Lovejoy's is "the place" for the best tasting lunch in town. I've always had three soups to choose from. Clam chowder, Salmon Bisque and a vegetarian soup. It was Pumpkin this week. I heard a customer say he was from Boston and the clam chowder he'd ordered was the best he had ever eaten. The menu introduces three new dishes each week, at least one or two new desserts and a new soup. So, the locals never get bored.

The food was delicious by the way. Have been back three times. Well worth the time and gasoline to enjoy Lovejoy's Restaurant & Tea Room. The atmosphere was relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner is the chef and she seems to have a gift for seasoning that I rarely experience.
