West Hollywood Restaurant Guide

The food is wonderful, if pricey. The service attentive. But after a recent experience, I will never return. A rowdy group of diners took over a corner of this once proud restaurant and ruined a nice evening for my party, and several others in the room. Withering looks and complaints to the staff had zero effect. The group was loud, obnoxious and profane, and the staff did little. I asked the group politely to tone it down and was ignored, although the other diners were openly appreciative of my attempt. When offered a chance to move to another part of the restaurant by the maitre 'd, they refused. When they asked us to relocate, we of course said No. Why punish the polite and defend the rude?

We rushed through our meal, paid the $200+ check and left. Zero help from the staff besides a weak apology.

The ineffectual dealing with a loud, crass party will keep us from ever returning, and I'd bet, the other polite diners as well. Truly and awful experience.
