From the description: "When you're in the mood for good times and great cuisine, be sure to checkout Kowalski's Deli. The restaurant is located in one of the area's most pleasant settings and is known for its delightful staff and superb cuisine."
This place is a sandwich shop on the side of an office building right off Monroe, hardly what I'd call a great setting. I think calling sandwiches and chips "cuisine" is a bit of a stretch. There's nothing special about the sandwiches. At 1:00pm on a Friday, I couldn't get a Reuben, because they were out of corned beef. The only bread choices they had left were wheat and rye, and after I ordered, all they had left was rye. They were still open for 4 more hours. How does a sandwich shop run out of meat and bread? We're not talking about specialty house-cooked meats and artisan bread. It's deli meat and bread from a bag.
I have nothing personal against this place, but it's beyond me how it could be voted as one of the Top 5 Best Sandwich Shops in Spokane.
