In July 2009, a Famous Lawrence Institution opened an new location on the West side of Lawrence. JOHNNY'S WEST is now your friendly neighborhood tavern! With a 'grown up' version of their already awesome menu Johnny's West has lots of comfort food, Tavern Entrees, pastas and killer desserts along with the same great burgers,pizza and bar food that made Johnny's famous. The walls are filled with flat screens, big screens and lots of KU and JOhnny's memorabelia. You'll still have to go to North Lawrence to experience the true essence Johnny's history. There's always a robust night life there with the college crowd, 'suits', 'shirts' and 'jerseys' all rockin' into the wee hours.
