Metuchen Restaurant Guide

It's a wonderful place to take the family and the staff is personable which makes it even better. I have never had anything but a wonderful meal at this place and they have the best Pasta Fagiola ever!!

We have gotten take out numerous times , and each time the food has been excellent.

Have been a customer for many years. Joey D's has catered many parties for our family. Great food and the staff is very friendly.

Joey D's in Metuchen catered St. Helena's Friday night dinner on March 27, 2009. Only one entre: Baked Ziti. It was out of this world good. I had not dined at Joey D's before but my wife and I plan to now.

I had take out and have never dined in. But after ordering chicken marsala and eggplant parm, we will never go back. Each meal sat on a few pounds of spagetti, and both lacked any flavor. The eggplant was heavily breaded and didn't even have much sauce; while the chicken marsala had mushrooms, it was void of any marsala flavor, and the 3 small pieces of chicken tasted like they had been microwaved. A real disappointment after hearing about it and the crowd of folks there. Maybe we will try just the pizza, since they supposedly have a good reputation so something on their menu must be better than what we ordered.

My husband and I have eaten their many times and brought many friends and always have a great meal.we even had my sons wedding rehersal dinner their. Friends also use their catering all the time. Its the best
