Fond Du Lac Restaurant Guide

If you have not tried Joes - you need to. Being born and raised in Fond du Lac I know all the pizza places around and nothing compares to Joes. I live out of town now and make the trip in just to eat there. They are the best!

This pizza is very good! If you're in or near Fond Du Lac, do not hesitate to try them.

I was born in Fond du Lac, and Joe's was and still
is the best. If you want a big deep dish pizza,
Joe's is not the place. Their crust is thin and
crispy, their sauce is slightly sweet and spicy,
they use just enough cheese(dont order double cheese, it's too much)and the sausage they use is
a perfect compliment. You have to go back to
the kitchen and place your order, then wait it out
upfront in the bar or back in the small dingy dining room,(the linoleum and wall coverings havent changed since the 50's)but the wait is worth it. Now that we live out of town, we order
our pizza carryout, half cooked and uncut. Joe's
is still the best, you wont be disappointed.

Great pizza have been ordering from them for a while and the service is great. I order a lot of pizza and I can tell you if your looking for a good pizza and are in the Fond du Lac area. Either order from Joes Fox Hut or Bob's Pizza both are excellent

I'm 59, been around a lot, and this is the best pizza I've ever had--and better than pizzas in Italian communities I've lived in. They have a truly great crust, good sauce, everything hit's the mark just right.

I've lived in the Fox valley area for 20 years, and no only is Fox Hut pizza the best, it's head and shoulders above anything around here. To say it's "great" is not an under statement. And contrary to a review I just read here, the crust is nothing near rubbery; quite the opposite. It is light and flaky--the best crust of any pizza I've ever had. The quality of the crust is one of the best things about their pizza. This pizza could compete well (probably defeat) any pizza in NY or Chi town.

The person in the previous review is way off the mark. The pizza is the best thin crust pizza I've had - and I'm Italian as well. Some times it can take a while to get served, but it's very small and very busy, and they have a ton of deliveries as well. If you're in town, try it for yourself.

When i first moved here from milwaukee i asked people who had good pizza, everyone said joes fox hut, when i went i had to wait a very long time and they were not busy this was at a quiet time, finally got my pizza the crust was just like eating a piece of cardboard with hard cheap rubber cheese on top the sauce was sour and not good at all, i think they are popular because they have been here a long time, trust me being italian i know pizza and this was not it.
