I have to say that I had the single most horrible experience with Jin Chan yesterday. We ordered a delivery order...an hour later we did not have our food, so we called to see where it was. We were told that it was "on the way". Another half of an hour passed, still no sign of our food. We called back..and were told that we never told them it was a delivery (even though we did and gave them the address 3 times), and the girl on the phone ARGUED with us and told us that she would take $5 off of our $35 order. We told her that was not acceptable and that we would like to speak to her manager...she said no to our request. We then asked her to just deliver the food and we would pay for it and take it up with her manager later. Another 1/2 hour passed...still no food. Now it has been 2 hours, so we call back and the manager, Randy, gets on the phone and begins to argue with us. We told him that we were very put out, and to please compensate us for the horrible experience we had had by giving us our meal complimentary. His response was "this is America, you don't get a free meal in America." We said we didn't expect a free meal, we expected to be treated with respect and given good customer service. At this he hung up on us. To say the least..I will never be a patron of their business ever again. We ordered food elsewhere last night. I have always thought they were a good restaurant until I, being the customer, was argued with and called a liar. What happened to the customer being a priority? Please do not patronize businesses that treat their customers (the ones who pay their bills) like they do not matter and are not important to maintain their business. They have lost a very faithful customer who has spent vast amounts of money in their business in the past.

Haoway Chinese has the best tasting chinese food that I have had in Boulder. It isn't like a fancy restaurant that you would take a date too, but it is wonderful food and the people are very very friendly. The prices are good, and the owners are very ...
Chinese
Very good Chinese food. Highly recommended. I can usually tell the quality of a restaurant's food by the hot and sour soup--this one is good! Try the Curry chicken/shrimp or Szechuan Beef. Not too many places in Boulder that I would am a repeat c ...
