Have been going to Jimmies for 3 generations. Almost all significant events growing up were celebrated there. The Lemon Butter fish sauce alone will keep me going there for the rest of my years. The LeFevers do an excellent job running it. Best things in my opinion are the Perch, the Sand Dabs, and the lemon soup. Great place for civil war buffs. Also, if you like heavy metal, TJ will talk with you all night about it and his (excellent) band Razor Fist. Check it out.
One of our favortie places to dine, the food is great and they have a fine wine list. Worth the drive to go to Jimmie's in Butte Des Morts!

We love this place for great food and a nice atmosphere throughout, Civil War theme, not something thrown together with replicas but the real deal. This place has been around for a loooong time and is excellent for a delicous dinner and a night you won't forget...
