My husband and I travel between Atlanta and Destin, FL about 14 times a year. And we ALWAYS try to time our trips around a meal at "It Don't Matter Cafe" in Highland Home, AL., just to eat their fried chicken.
I don't know how they do it, but they have the best fried chicken this side of my Mom's. The rest of the food is good too, but is just basic southern food.
If you are traveling on Highway 331 through Alabama, make sure you stop at this small town restaurant. You won't regret it.
