My husband and I were exhausted after shopping in the heat all morning so we stopped at the first place we saw. We thought, why not? Let's try it. After we were seated in the outdoors seating area, the waitress took our drink orders. I noticed a group at another table was drinking what looked like mimosas. As mimosas were not on the menu, I asked if that's what they were and sure enough...they were. She brought me one at no charge and that was the first pleasant surprise. Then my husband was trying to decide which flavor milkshake he wanted as they have numerous choices. She offered to make him a customized flavor, which he loved.Then he commented that he hadn't had sweet potato fries since he left North Carolina 20 years ago and was surprised to see them on the menu. She offered to bring him a couple of fries to test. Well, she brought a whole heaping basket full of them. Again, at no charge. When we received our food order of burgers and fries, we were actually too full to eat more than a few bites. The burgers were fantastic and so was everything else. The prices were great for what you get and the service was outstanding. The menu is varied as they serve breakfast too. It's not too close to us, but we will definitely be going back!

I was unsure of stopping at this unknown burger joint when the rest of our group suggested the place on the way back from Yosemite, but it turns out to be a delicious and fresh tasting place to eat. I've told my friends to check it out!

We were on our way to Yosemite and found this restaurant on HWY 120 just on the east side of Escalon. It's cute, has tropical outdoor dining area, plus the inside has tons of sports memorbilia. They have child meals. But, the big draw is Hula's hamburgers..they are to die for. Big, juicy, great flavor, a huge selection and they will custom cook it to your desire. And the steak fries are excellent. We had a banana/strawberry shake that was very smooth. They make their shakes from the soft-serve ice cream that they use for their frosties. It was very clean and the servers are right there if you need anything. We'll recommend to friends and family. A+ experience.
