Me and my boyfriend were just passing through town and the GPS showed us that Giovanni’s wasn’t far off the highway. Right away I could tell this was a local hang out, which was fine! We perfer local pubs, usual. As we walked in to the "lounge" area. We were greeted by the bartenders very loud burping ability, who was a girl. Who then got us our drinks when we sat down. We looked at the menu, pretty basic, with entrees on the back side. It was then we got annoyed when the bartender took just about 20min to get back to us, for she was to occupied with her regulars, and playing around with them. This would be cute an funny, if she was just another customer. We gave up on food. and walked to the other side of the restaurant. Which was completely empty. Drinks in hand, a young girl finally came to the front. She was a little nicer then that bartender. We ordered a small cheese pizza. Nothing to call the food network on, but it was fine. Service was ok. The overall appearance of the place - filthy! The only thing I liked were the old enlarged photos they had hanging around - that needed to be dusted off. This is NOT kid friendly! The bartender turns up the music on the other side SO LOUD! And not appropriate music for kids to be hearing, and just to loud for you to even enjoy your meal. With all this said, I’m glad we were just passing through. Suggestions – Fire the bartender, put some money into making the place look nice. But until the owners do this, I recommend ignoring you GPS.

I brought my two children to eat at Giovanni's over the weekend. The serive was wonderful and the food was phenominal. The waitress was very polite and accurate. Everything on the menu is priced reasonably and its a great place to bring your family.

We went with my granchildren they treated us like royalty, the food was excellent and the service was one of the best I have ever had.I took my out of stste sisters there and they were overwhelmed at the service and the food

This resturant recently changed ownership, and is headed for a come back. The food was good the service was great and new owners are very friendly.
