Until last Friday (12/14/07) I was a fan of this restaurant, however I had only been there for lunch. This particular time I took my daughter and mother out for dinner. My mother is blind in her right eye and has limited eyesight in her left eye. I asked for seating under the light on the back wall and they initially refused to seat us there. When I tried to explain why I was asking for that seat I was interrupted and told they had to sit me next in the seating table once an area had been started. At that point I was getting ready to leave when the couple who were sitting where they wanted to seat us let me know they would move if it helped us. We graciously accepted this offer. The meal was pretty good but the "show" was the same as every lunch I had eaten there and I expected more for dinner. In getting ready to pay I got out my retired military ID (they give a discount to military) and was told they didn't accept retired IDs. When I questioned this because I've used it numerous times for lunch they wouldn't honor the discount. Based on the events of the evening I asked for a comment card and was given a yellow sheet of paper and a pen to write my comment on; I explained that I wanted to write a note to the owner and our waitress just laughed and went back to get one of the business cards. Rather than discuss it with my mother and daughter there (this was a girl’s night out for Christmas) I decided I would handle it later. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service received and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
