Carbondale Restaurant Guide

My husband and I ate at Garfield's for lunch. It took forever to get our food and then it was cold. People who sat down after us had their food before us. Not worth the price & the service was not good.

It's kid friendly, you can draw on the table!

I went there for my birthday with my husband and it was probably the worst food I have ever eaten. When we walked in it was dead so we thought we had the place to ourselves. After dinner we knew why. We got the appetizer combo and it was literally two things per person and very small for ten buck. Our food portions were so small that we left there hungry and not to mention our beverages... my husband's beer came out flat the first time and my mixed drinks were all ice. When we complained the waitress laughed and said I know, we are downsizing to help costs; I don't even eat here anymore!

Needless to say we will never be back and we wasted $40 dollars

The food was cold, and the drinks were grossly overpriced.... over $4 for a juice-glass-sized mixed drink that was mostly ice. I left hungry, and feeling like my pockets had been picked. I definitely will not return to this restaurant, although I am frequently in the Carbondale area.
