About Garcia's Cafe
Quite simply, this is some of the best Tex-Mex you're going to find in or around Austin.
Aside from the food itself, a large part of the attraction is the "tucked away" feel of the place. Just a couple blocks away from a major traffic interchange (I-35 and FM 620), the restaurant sits on what feels like a lane where W Main Ave and N San Saba St curve into each other. Through traffic is non-existent and it feels like you've returned to small town America. Margaritas are available and amazing. Come check out Garcia's for yourself!

We had bought and paid for a Restaurant.com coupon for $25 off at Garcia’s and my wife and I went there to try it. The building is a shack. We walked through 30 feet of mud to get to the front door.
Once inside, we saw a sign saying that they would not honor our coupon unless we were a party of four! The cashier confirmed it.
There is nothing about that in the coupon language. When I called them, the representative of Restaurant.com said there was no such requirement in the arrangement that Garcia’s had made with them.
If the managers of Garcia’s are so uninterested in their customers and in their own public image that they will not honor a legal contract that they arranged, I want nothing to do with them.

Went to get take out and when I returned home found they had totally messed up my order, giving me chicken instead of fish. I had mad a 30 mile trip just to get fish too. They even asked if I wanted extra tarter sauce. T
