I've been to Fred's several times. The last time was for my birthday in November 09 and I had a great smoked steak cooked perfectly. The servers were terrific and my husband paid the bill, so the price was right. :) Ask for a table near the fireplace if it's cold outside - very romantic.

I've been to Fred's several times. The last time was for my birthday in November 09 and I had a great smoked steak cooked perfectly. The servers were terrific and my husband paid the bill, so the price was right. :) Ask for a table near the fireplace if it's cold outside - very romantic.

Easter 2009: I was disappointed. The holiday food planning was not very efficient - The rib tray on the buffet table as well as one other meat tray and one of the vegetable trays was empty both times I went to get my food. The restaurant's parking lot is very confusing - at least when busy. They need to make the 2 spots in front of the small red building on the right side as you drive in a "no parking" area to ensure smooth traffic flow and to prevent near-accidents. The long wait (even with reservations), empty food trays at the buffet table, and faulty parking lot do not warrant their high prices. On the plus side, the chicken and sweet potatoes were very good. The other food was okay. Very nice decor inside, but other than that, nothing special.

Wait about 15 minutes for table-was ok with us. It took another 15 minutes for someone to come by and ask about drinks. Meal was slow. Coffee was cold. They had run out of French fries (?) to go with the catfish. Substituted beans were cold, cornbread incredibly dry, fish luke warm. Have eaten there before and was good but will not attempt it again.

We moved to Bentonville recently and the locals told us to eat here. Wow! What a treat! Incredible atmosphere, friendly staff, and super food! Perfect place for a date night with your spouse...get a babysitter and enjoy a night out!

First time in Bentonville , went to Fred's on a recommendation. WHAT A FIND!! Best steak ever (including Mortons or Ruths Chris). My wife had the ribs and I practically finished both our meals. Great friendly staff, wonderful food. I'll be back!
