Hopatcong Restaurant Guide

I'd much rather go to La Vigna's - at Frank's I feel like I'm being rushed out the door. I have never had a friendly waitress when I have gone there. I'm a regular at La Vigna's because Vinny chops the garlic fresh with olive oil for my dad, when he sees us coming in the door. I'm a person - not a number. My family comes from Mount Arlington & Wharton for La Vigna's

Frank's is the best in town. I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years and it is always consistent. I'm surprised that the last person thinks Frank's hasn't remained consistent because it is still the best in the area. I have gone to Parma Johns and La Vinia to see how their pizza and dinners are and Frank's easily blows them away. If you want good pizza, good food, friendly service, and a clean atmosphere I would suggest going to Frank's because it is the best in Hopatcong! I wish they would deliver.

franks pizza is delicious! THE FOOD IS GREAT and so are the waitresses! Kevin (the owner) is one of a kind! Pleasant all the time, whenever we stop in...always smiling! Such a great enviornment to be a part of!! Thank you franks for being the best pizza place around!!

Great place to eat, (Waahh the service was terrible, nobody treats me with the respect I deserve) that negative reviewer is just miserable, and probably hates it when the sun shines. Go to Frank's you'll like it.

best food in town!! best service. i just went there the other day and have to say this is the best place in town. i have to disagree with the previous rater and say franks has the best staff in town they are nice and kind. i have been going there since they have opened and havent had a complaint yet!!

Their pizza is less then par however their entree's are very good. However their staff is terrible. I have never been treated so rudely as I was this evening 6/9/07. If not for Nicole, I would take my business across the street. Tonight it was obvious that Nicole was not there. My order was cold. I asked when I called (3) times before someone actually didn't hang up on me, I specifically asked to have my order kept up on the pizza oven as I was going to be at least 40 minutes before I got there. I normally wouldn't have said anything but being that the 2 young girls behind the counter were acting like I was bothering them for patronizing the establishment, I mentioned that I had wanted my food to be kept on the oven so it would stay hot. The girl touched the bag and said... "it feels warm to me". I was appauled. I paid and when she turned quickly away without a word, I loudly spouted, "you're very welcome." She muttered something under her breath as I left. I will think twice about coming in there again. I've been going in there for 20 years now and this was the last straw. Frank! Train your staff in charm. It costs nothing but goes a long way!

I have to disagree with the previous review and say with 100% confidence that Franks outdoes LaVigna's pizza by a mile. I am a regular customer of Franks and have yet to be disappointed. They have a huge variety of delicious fresh pizza in slices or pies, a large assortment of food, including crispy and slightly spicy chicken wings. You can't go wrong here - by far the best food in Hopatcong. the only improvement would be to add delivery as an option!

Pizza is pretty good, the place across the street (La Vigna) is the winner for best pizza. However the entrees are quite good.
