We went on New Years Eve...we had to call 5 times just to be able to speak with someone that could make a reservation...when we got there we found out that there was no "reservation system" just a piece of notebook paper...that should have been our 1st clue...we had to wait about 10 min to be seated though there were plenty of open tables...we were not given the option of ordering what we wanted because they had a "special". The food was OK..we were there ove 2 hours. Not because we were eating that long but because we had to wait FORVER to get drinks-about 15 min, salad about 30, etc...we never did get dessert even though we had to pay for it since it was included in the special..the manager was rude. waitress was sweet.

I cannot review the food because I have been unable to eat here. I bought a $50 gift certificate from restaurant.com at a reduced price and called for a reservation on Sunday, 28 Sep 2008 for two. The restaurant called me Saturday evening, 27 Sep 2008 to say two staff members were sick and they needed to reschedule the reservation off(the only one they had at the time for that day, maybe that should have told me something)and promised me $30 . I rescheduled for Sunday, 4 Oct at 5:30 PM. When we arrived, the door was locked. When I called someone answered and told me he was in the back cutting up meat for Monday's business, and that they had decided between last week and this week not to open on Sundays anymore. No staff was on hand. They promised the manager would call me the next day. Needless to say it is Thursday, 9 Oct and I have heard nothing. I don't expect them to be in business much longer.

Before heading out to try this fairly new restaurant I was looking forward to having something nice, new, fresh, and classy in Macon.
I was sadly disappointed from the moment I walked into the front door covered with red paper. We were promptly seated in a comfortable booth.
The hostess brought two menus; one was a Christmas menu and was later taken from me.
The waitress asked if we would be having wine with our meal but I and my companion both chose to go with either a diet soda or unsweet tea. The server seemed to be upset by this for some reason.
We ordered the Grecian Feast that was on the menu for $59.
First to come out was the salad that was plated tableside. The concept of preparing the salad tableside was pleasant; however the room temperature vegetables were far from appetizing. I ordered a peppercorn ranch dressing that looked like spoiled grey mayonnaise with pepper sprinkled on.
I wanted to live - so I chose not to eat that but instead opted for a honey lime dressing that was also above room temperature.

Next was the cheese fondue where feta cheese was mixed with some of the more traditional fondue cheeses.
The bread served with the cheese fondue was completely okay.
The carrot chunks appeared as if they were sliced about 3 days ago. They were mostly white and very flexible. The granny smith apples served still had pieces of the stem and seeds in it.
For the main course we were brought, chicken, pork, sirloin, and filet mignon - all cut into chunks and seasoned.
Instead of the traditional peanut oil fondue I am accustomed to - we instead proceeded to boil chunks of meat in a chicken broth.
The meat tasted rotten at times, way over seasoned, the dipping sauces looked as if someone else prior to me had dipped in there.

It was just overall one of the worst dining experiences I have had in quite a while.

Our overall experience wasn't great. Service was very dry, and also very slow. We were greeted promptly, but not seated timely. I felt a hint of akwardness throughout the restaurant. After seating there was no further service provided. Maybe under staffed or poorly organized. After 15mins of waiting, no one ever came to see about drinks, restaurant wasn't busy at all. Service was just unacceptable.
