November 13, 2004 my wife and I went to the Fleetwood Diner.
My wife and I have gone to the Fleetwood Diner almost every weekend since it has opened. I would consider us regulars.
On this day, we ordered our food and twenty minutes later, we had only received our orange juice. Our server checked on our food and it was not ready.
A few minutes later, I got up, approached our server at the serving window and asked for our bill. At this point, my food was ready but my wife’s food was not.
We were late and needed to go. I told our server we were no longer interested in eating and wanted to go. With this, the server turned to the manager and told her we wanted to go. The manager grabbed the plate and said, “fine, leave then.”
I walked down to the cash register and paid my bill. Our server apologized which was nice because the manager never did.
After leaving a tip my wife and I left hungry and disappointed that as regulars we received such a cold shoulder.
I did want to let the manager know that we spend an average of $14 every time we eat and we tip around 20% or more.

This is by far the best place to eat steak in the mid-michigan area. I have tried all of the big chain places and they just don't compare on quality or price. Everytime I go I get great service and my food is always prepared quickly and correctly.
I used to live in Lansing and always enjoyed the food and great service. Dale the night bartender always makes me feel at home.
Whenever I am back in the Lansing area I always stop in.
This place is great. I usually go here in the morning for a bagel and I'm always impressed. The service is great, the place is very clean, and the food is yummy. Try their sandwiches for lunch. The corned beef is great and they apparently get it
