We found this "uncut" gem while staying on the Schoodic Peninsula. Our B&B hosts recommended it and we went there 3 nights in a row. Ejoyed other restaurants for lunch but kept returning to the Fisherman's Inn for dinner. The menu is seafood plus.

They didn't have authentic Winter Harbor Coffee, which is one of the reasons we stopped in Winter Harbor! We finally found out that you can buy it in the 5 & 10 down the street, but we were already in Ellsworth again when we found out, so we'll have to get it next time - in a few weeks when we go back. It's really nice there. You can just have a nice day at the seashore. The restaurant was for grown-ups, but that's ok. They were really nice to us.
