The food is Great at this place, and they awsome fires and the steak sandwich is amazing. The only thing I dont like about firestone is the bar service. There is a guy that works in there that obviously hates his job, and takes it out on all the customers.

Firestone Grill in SLO was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm a big football fan and wanted to catch the last half of a football game. I ordered drinks, but an hour later, the manager on duty told me I had to leave because I was not ordering food. It was humiliating and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who just wants to enjoy a good Sunday game.

If you are tired of the usual burgers, pizza, and burritos, I recommend you give Oasis a try. Authentic Mediterranean food, reasonably priced, and freshly prepared. Open for lunch and dinner. “Take out” is also available. Many items can be ordered ...

Great food and better tasting overall than the other Indian place in SLO, though their chai is a bit weak and naan/paratha/roti selection limited. Really good value for the lunch buffet. Try the korma, spiced lentil soup, and tikka masala!

We had a great dining experience at Firestone Grill. I must say that the quality of the food, especially the Tri-Tip sandwiches, rank up there with some of the best barbeque restaurants in the Dallas, Texas area. I would definitely recommend this local dinish establishment to any out-of-towners

The grilled chicken bbq sandwich is the bomb! Juicy and tender, it is full of flavor & the prices are easy on the wallet... wonderful, and PET friendly (leashed) patio dining available :)

This place has excellent food at great prices. The tri-tip, chicken & ribs are the best in town. The people I work with think the burgers & fries are terrific - they just wish the place wasn't so popular so they could get a seat easier at noon. I go later & never have to wait. Fast service and perfect for a "quick" lunch break. They have a local "who's who in business & sports" following and it seems like a little business always gets done at Firestone as well.

OK you want a cheap, (and yet highley edible), burger or ribs, while enjoying a sporting event. This is your place. The food is pretty good, and comes at a bargain price. The place is REALLY loud though, and I found the bar service a bit iffy.
