I'm from Chicago and we go to Monticello, IN every year to vacation at Indiana Beach. While we bring the kids for Indiana Beach, we adults really come for Esmeralda's! It is the best breakfast food we have ever had! I can not say one negative thing about Esmeralda's! The waitresses are awesome! The food is great and the price is ridiculously low! Do not pass up this gem if you are visiting! You will not be disappointed!

Like most restaurants in small towns, it you're looking for tablecloths and crystal, you're not going to find it. You have your choice of booth or table, nothing fancy, but great food, friendly waitresses and unbeatable prices. For that reason, it's usually pretty crowded and you may have to wait a little while for seating.
