When I walk into the Elm Diner It's like walking into the home of a family member. The owner's John & wife are right there to say hello. But it doesn't stop there. They both are always walking around making sure everything is to your liking and if not it's corrected at once. As for the food I thinks it is outstanding. I've eaten at the 3 major diner's in West Haven and I still find the Elm to be the best. It's not just the food that makes a good restuarant it's the people & the service. At the Elm Diner you eat both.

The Food Is Absolutley Delicious Fast and Friendly
service who can ask for more Well There Is More The Owners Of This family Restaurant are actually On Premise Hands On and Conserned That There Patrons Are Happy And Satisfied Before during and After The Have Been Served It is FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED BUISNESS not a Corporation ! Lets Support Them And Let Main Street and Elm Streets Of America Survive I Refuse to Dine at Corporate Astablishments Let The Small Buisness's Thrive

I had the chicken cutlets and eggplant. It was the best I've ever had. I would higly recommend this deli to anyone.
