Saturday September 13, 2008 we went to Ellingtons on the Beach for Family Reunion diiner. Made reservations for 6:30 PM so they were aware it was a large group. Arrived and tables were not set yet. Drink orders went well but only one waiter. Food ordered but when food came out they didn't know where any of it went, no seating charts used. No condiments were put out for anything other than melted butter. The beef products all seemed to have been parbroiled in their own juices. All the shrimp, steamed or broiled were overcooked and cheap quality with very dirty veins. Management seemed more interested in ongoing dinner theater on other side of restaurant. Total waste of money even if it was within walking distance. Also wouldn't take AMEX.

F - 2 The rolls were good. Shrimp were steamed to being boiled. Medium prime-rib was par-boiled in texture. Broiled shrimp were over cooked. Scallops in sauce on rice was a soup.
S - 2 Wait staff didn't know where food went, didn't know to serve condiments. Did ask what was needed a lot!
A - Atmosphere Noisy and seemed to be impeding their running a dinner theater in other side of room.
