El Corral presents a good value when you're a'hankerin' for meat 'n potatoes 'n white bread. It's almost always crowded with both locals and referrals. The walls of the rambling beamed adobe rooms are arranged with vintage western studio photos (the servers have a list to identify the puzzled.) If the whole party orders house dressing, the server mixes an ample salad at your table. They are known for their prime rib and they roast a lot of it so you can get any cut, any cooking style, any time. My favorite is the petite sirloin. Just enough for my taste. Each table should order at least one serving of tamale pie as a side.
