We had stopped for the night at the adjacent motel and decided to eat here out of convenience. My wife and I both had the tamale/chile relleno combination plate and we were not disappointed. The tamale was meaty and spiced just right. The chile relleno was prepared in a manner different from what I was accustomed. Rather than the chese filled chile being dredged in an egg wash and fried it was wrapped in the egg omelette style.
This was the best mexican food we had tasted in a long time.
