As a family of four we were excited that we found a new restaurant with a good menu and decent prices. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly AT FIRST. Then my husband got his lasagna and we all took a bite of it. It had mushrooms in it and it was not listed on the menu. My husband is allergic to mushrooms so we explain this to the waitress and told her that we would pay for the salad and the bread and to please take the lasagna off the bill. She was not happy with us so she went and got the chef (who is also the owner) and he was the rudest person I have literally ever met. He told us that we should have "asked if there were mushrooms in it" and that "we don't list all ingredients such as basil and oregano".That "you all took a bite and have to pay for it." He said he was "aggravated at us" and accused us of "going around doing this all the time, trying to get something for nothing". There were literally two bites taken out of it. He actually told us to "pick the mushrooms out". Then I told him I would have to get out the benadryl and epi-pen and he said "I don't care". I told him he needed to list mushrooms on the menu and he said "NO!" I am appalled by this owners attitude to his customers. I have never met any business owner that was this rude, plus he reeked of tobacco and with him being a chef, that really grosses me out! I highly recommend you avoid this restaurant at all cost. It is not worth the headache if, heaven forbid, something might be wrong with your food.
