Ha Ha Haaa Ha!
This is great. Dukeman's Restaurant. Ahhh... Hah!
While Dukeman's was certainly the social gathering hot spot in our rural lives, the wonderful hand dipped ice cream and hot coffee never constituted a restaurant. It was the friendly owners and us country folks that drifted in to stand and chat and pass some time that made the place. That and the certainty that there would be Ice Cream every summer!!
I very much miss this place. But life moves on.
