All the way from Long Island, Timothy Patrick Dugan is responsible for bringing out the Irish in Brevard. Tim worked in two Irish pubs before traveling around and eventually settling down in the peaceful Blue Ridge Mountains. Upon moving to the area, Tim found a vacated building downtown on East Main Street where he decided to pursue his long time dream or owning an Irish pub. He and his brother-in-law, Steve Wright, completed the pub from scratch in just 60 days. Working every day and endless hours into the night, they finished their labor of love just two days prior to St. Patrick's Day. With impeccable timing, Dugan's Pub opened March 15, 2003! Dugan's was a huge success, and with success comes growth. So in 2009, Tim decided to take advantage of a fantastic opportunity to relocate in the French Broad Place which has been an incredibly positive move. From the 150 year old barnwood to the Notre Dame memorabilia, we hope you find the rustic atmosphere true to an Irish Pub.
