Queen Charlotte

Nicknamed the Queen City, Charlotte has become a fast-rising center for business, sports, and recreation. North Carolina's largest city is a major hub for the financial world, with Bank of America and Wachovia locating their headquarters here. Only New York City ranks above Charlotte as a banking headquarters when measuring control of assets. History also looms large here, where "Charlotte Town" was officially incorporated in 1768. The city's name is in honor of Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg, who was the wife of King George III. World-renowned evangelist Billy Graham was born here and a museum honoring his life and accomplishments is located in Charlotte. The city has also become a home to professional sports. Visitors can take their pick and attend a game by the NFL's Carolina Panthers, NBA's Charlotte Bobcats, or Minor League Baseball's Charlotte Knights. The NCAA football Meineke Car Care Bowl is played annually in December at Bank of America Stadium, home of the Panthers. Of course, North Carolina is synonymous with motor sports. Many NASCAR drivers and team members live in and around Charlotte, and Lowe's Motor Speedway is nearby in Concord. Don't forget your golf clubs, the famed Quail Hollow course is here and legendary Pinehurst is about a two-hour drive to the east. For the entire family, make sure to visit the Carowinds amusement park.

Great, delicious food, nice welcome. The manager Omar is the heart of this venue. Very friendly atmosphere. Beautiful oriental music. Would love to go there again.
Ask for your food to be cooked "french style" for some of the best tasting food in Charlotte. I ate lunch there 3-5 times a week for several years. You won't find better food or better value anywhere in the city.
