Where do I begin, I even live in Denton and have visited this restaurant on 3 separate times in the past 6 months to verify my opinion. It's not good and only became worse each time. First visit waited over an hour for food and received it cold. Second time there was more plate than food, taste was bland and it took 45 minutes to get our food. Third time well this ain't pretty folks. I ordered the sampler appetizer and received one medium sized onion ring, one small onion ring, 5 breaded mushrooms, and 5 breaded cauliflowers with cheese sauce for $6.95, well rob the bank on this one, not much for value here, wallet still screaming for mercy. Then came the meal ordered daily special Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Received a 4"x2" hunk of dry hamburger, large scoop of potatoes, and about 8 small green beans. No gravy on meat and asked for additional gravy in a cup, gravy was so salty I could not even eat the meat or potatoes. Tasted like it was used with beef bullion cubes. 2 visits to this restaurant were in the evening and one in the afternoon. Save your money until they start serving quality food and service to meet there prices. Used to be a great place to eat as of today stay away and maybe they will get a clue that the need to change things.

Slow service rude waitress took 40 minutes to get my order my first and last visit to DDD

We went on a Wednesday night and the place was busy. The wait staff was friendly, the prices were low, the orders came out faster than I expected, and the food was good. What's not to like? Well, it is a small town bar, not an upscale burger chain. Set your atmosphere expectations accordingly. It is also a Keno bar, so numbers are called out over the speakers now and then. That's a bit distracting, but I expected that going in.

Ditto to March 2009 comments, place is filthy, bathrooms
dirty, food is horrible, it used to be awesome! Staff just
want to hurry up and close and get out of there.
Chairs always up on tables in front room 2 hours before
close...not very restaurant friendly! Too many drunks and
staff doing nothing about it.

Food Was Terrible, Place is Dirty, Smoking, Staff Was Very Nice, But The Food Was Absolutly Discusting. I've Never Had Such Bad Food From A Bar Or Any Other Resturant Before. Sorry

denton daily double is amazing! you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a few games of keno while eating delicious food.
