A diner from Tusket
May 4, 2011
I had half an hour to have lunch before an appointment nearby. Jordon took my order, very friendly, I asked for a coffee, he wasn't sure how to make it but managed a good cup but it all went down hill from there. I ordered the simplest burger with fries...I asked for no pickle or mustard.I was watching the clock but there was so much chaos and disorganization in the kitchen area that after 15 minutes I got up to ask if there was any chance that my food might be ready, the coffee was handed to me but nobody could located my order having been started. There was lots of discussion with regard to other orders, some were correct some not which only led to more noisy interactions. Someone quickly made my burger, another person threw it all in a bag and handed it to me. I took my lunch to my table and emptied it out as best I could onto the napkins, no tray given, only to find I had the unwanted pickle and mustard but no cheese. I should have returned it but was running out of time so stupidly ate the worst burger I have ever had, made my feelings clear to Jordon who hoped it wouldn't stop me coming back...a foregone conclusion I think!!!
