A diner from Fredericksburg, VA May 23, 2013
I live in Fredericksburg, VA. The Dairy Queen on Courthouse Road advised me when I asked if there was a senior citizen discount I was told no. I thought Dairy Queen did offer something for seniors from what I read on the internet. Is this Diary Queen corporate or franchised out?

I ordered a belt buster with cheese and three slices of bacon, as well as 3 more combos on Wednesday night. My total order was $28 and I was so disappointed. My total order was completely wrong and I am so disappointed because I got charged for these items. I hate when my order is not right. It just discourages me from going back to the restaurant.

The server was disinterested, take home quart was half full, the blizzard, she stuck the handle into the ice cream"contamination"and she tore the lid which leaked in the car.she didn't offer and did not give a ticket. The phone at this location is always busy or no one answers and they refuse to tell you who the owner is or how to get in contact. they constantly get orders wrong or are poorly made. It's your name they are destroying.

A diner from Warsaw, IN May 4, 2012
On May 4, 2012 @ 11:45AM, we stopped at Dairy Queen on Joliet St in Dyer, IN. Service was really bad; it appeared that there was just one clerk taking care of the orders. Our chicken strips were cold, the gravy container had thick, yellowed, old gravy on the inside rim of the container, salt and pepper shakers were coated with greasy dirt, no napkins were at the tables and the ketchup bottles were empty. There were no large lids for our drinks. One of the extra helpers in the dining area who was wiping off tables, told the clerk at the counter that all the ketchup bottles were empty, but the clerk ignored him. Waited for coffee for at least 12 minutes. Will never go there again. It was a waste of money for the 4 of us.

A diner from Swansboro, NC May 3, 2011
Moved to Swansboro, NC, from Nebraska. Have visited the store here a couple of times since moving here. First time, during lunch, ordered two hambergers. One came really hot and the other cold. Cheese did not come close to melting on the cold one. Second time, ordered a hotdog and in the bun was was a piece of paper from a napkin. I know things happen without fault and reasons but tonight took the cake. Sat behind a vehicle waitng to place an order.... Sat there for a while with no correspondence from the drive through window. They sped off after a bit and I pulled forward. There I sat waiting,... and waiting... and waiting. Voice over the intercom came and stated, what do you want. I asked what might be an issue inside that could cause a problem in the drive through. She replied, that they were very busy inside. I placed my order of two moolateys. One came quikly and the other four mins later as I watched the four girls inside playing around with one coustomer at the counter. I asked for the manager, and was told the manager was in the bathroom. Finally got my order, drove around and found the manager at the back door having an argument on the cell phone with someone. My last time going there and telling everyone in my fathers contractors company of three hundred, not to go there ant longer. Come to find out that they stopped going there a while back because of the poor service.

Some of my family and I went to DQ last night after a church basketball game which we have done for at least 8 years now. I ordered a large cherry dipped cone, like usual, but there was more ice cream in the cone then on top of it, you could even see through the cherry unfortunately it was a night we didn't stay and eat there. When I got down to the cone which didn't take long, it was so stale that I had to throw it away. Since we went in late the night before I got up and called them the next morning to explain what was so bad. The lady that answered the phone was rude, and was commenting on me to whomever she was speaking to, she ended with telling me that it was my fault and she wouldn't (not couldn't)do anything about my $3 cone. She didn't even apologize.

Dairy Queen at corner of Little Rd. and Hilltop Rd.Port Richey, Florida. This is the dirtiest place I've ever eaten at. Food on the kitchen floor and counter. Floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Should be condemned.

I just purchased one box of six dilly bars the total price was 7.47. I did a little math and realised that at this price I was paying .35 cents per ounce. That dont sound too bad until you add it up. There is 128 ounces in one gallon at .35 cents per ounce this is $44.00 and change per gallon.I think most people would agree with me that this is very expensive.I also believe DQ could lower the price on this item by half the amount and will still make a very large profit in this time of depressed economy. THANK YOU .

I called in an order to our Dairy Queen in the small town of Mart, TX. I was told it would be ready in about 7 mins, I actually left my house right at 10 mins later. When I pulled up to the window there was a car who had just made a food order as they were giving their change back. I waited and waited and waited some more. When i started watching how long I was in line it was 10 mins before I pulled to the window. When I asked the Mgr or whoever she was about not asking them to pull forward, there's also a sign on the window, she developed an attitude, didn't say anything to them because she was making ice cream and turned and walked away from me. She left the window open so I said "thank you anyway, and drove away. She called me on my cell and was very rude and hateful and wanted to know what I was going to do about the food. I told her I didn't like her attitude and she started yelling at me and before I knew it, she told me not to ever come back there again and hung up on me. Needless to say she didn't have to tell me that and you can bet your boots that I will never return and I will let everyone I know, know about this....

On feb. 19 I visited your DQ in Gillman,Il. I was never so dissatified with and eating place in my life. The help was not in uniform and looked very unkept. The menu on the wall was printed on white paper and difficult to read. The food was not up to DQ's standards by any means. My fish sandwitch was aproximatly one in square and the fish was only 1/4 inch thick. My granddaughters chicken basket contained some meat that resembled chicken and a teaspoon of thick brown gravy that was uneatable. My daughters chicken wrap consisted of a piece of chicken ? and lettuce with no dressing and was not wrapped..When we walked in and saw the menu and the help it should have been a clue to walk back out but we dine at several other DQ's and have always been satisified. I can't begin to tell you how far below DQ;s standards this partacular DQ was and how disipointing the whole experience was to us.I would like to speak to a DQ represenative about this experience in person or by telephone if that is possible..
A diner from Ames, IA Jan 4, 2010
Horrible service @ the Story City,Ia.location on 1/3/10. Waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes before going in to see what was going on. Worker rude, made numerous excuses- "we're busy, only 3 of us, someone deleted your order, I was in the bathroom!"(Never responding with an apology,& we'll get that made up right now.) When I asked for a refund she then shorted me $5,& began searching through her receipts in the garbage as she never gave us one. I aksed to speak to whomever was in charge, sadly it was her!! Never apologized,in fact was very flip & snotty. Very poor customer service.

During a week-end travel, we stopped in Clayton, NM at the local Dairy Queen. We ordered Chicken Strips with a drink. We did not get Chicken Strips. It was a very dark fried breaded 'meat'. And the tea barrel was uncovered. Needless to say, not a Dairy Queen fan anyway, I will not frequent any Dairy Queen again anywhere. The atmosphere, environment, and service did not come even close to other popular fast food restaurants.
Signed,
NRoss
