Fiancé and I have now been to Crossroads Saloon for lunch and dinner. For lunch we went on a Saturday a few weeks ago. We sat in the patio area with live music that was nice but very loud for the small area. The staff was very friendly but disorganized. The lunch food was very very good and reasonably priced. I however can not say the same for our dinner experience this past weekend. We did not have a reservation but the wait was only 20 minutes so we had drinks in the saloon area. The saloon and patio area were drinks and appetizers only. It would be nice if the patio area was full menu since it has such a great ambiance. The main dinning area is very plan. Not a big fan of the big kitchen window, especially when the cooks are in baseball caps and tee shirts. Also the wait staffs register is just outside one of the kitchen doors and it was funny watching there faces every time someone got hit with the door. The menu does not have very many options and is not kid friendly. We started with the Shrimp and Grits it was tasty and light. Fiancé also order house said with house dressing which was balsamic vinaigrette. I ordered the 16oz Ribeye with twice baked potato and broccoli. My fiancé had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asked the asparagus be substituted with spinach. Food was prepared quickly but my fiancé meal came with asparagus not spinach. Both steaks were cooked as ordered but had very little flavor. The twice baked potato also was very bland. For dessert we order the sorbet and it was very good. Along with the meal we had 2 beers and glass of wine.
Overall the meal was ok but was not worth the $117.00 with tip.
