Some of the best food I have ever eaten. The waitress was fantastic and for a crab shack with brown paper bags on the table, the atmosphere was great. Make sure you get the strawberries for dessert. I can't wait to go back.

Get over yourself. I mean I have no axe to grind one way or the other. Sometimes a restaurant is terrible and I wonder where are all the negative people in the world THEN just looking to complain. Then other times, as in this case, a restaurant is suitable....not great, but not by any stretch bad either, and I wonder why the complainers of the world somehow come here. Bottomline, this restaurant is good value for the price but is not a 5 star establishment. So if you want that then go to NYC or Chicago. But its perfect for the average joe and even the joe plus. I just can't stand when an average joe expects royal treatment. Enjoy, great value.

It appears that of the 2 prior reviews, someone seems to have a personal vendetta. How many restaurants do you frequent where you know the chef's name?
And to have that many issues with said chef? This restaurant prides itself on quality, great food and service...just ask any of the many regular customers. To see the comments of the 2 prior reviews is unfair. Voted by AC Press READERS, Best Of The Best Crabs, Best (Silver) Crab Cakes, and Best (Bronze) Clam Bar...the critizim just doesn't make sense. Why would anyone who just experienced new dining place accuse the chef (who they called by name) of hocking a loogie on their food because it was sent back? Suggestive comments don't belong here, anyone apparently can post comments, maybe disgruntled comptetition???? Maybe Crabby's should retaliate????

Crabby's was recomended as the place to go for crabs. My husband and I were confused on what to order and our waitress,I think her name was Rose, was very friendly and helpful. We ordered maryland crabs and steamed u-peel shrimp. The crabs were excellent. Our waitress even showed us a trick on how to clean them. The shrimp were hard to peel and the waitress caught onto this and sent them back for a new batch, which were much better. The disturbing part came when the waitress introduced chef Brian to another table. He was appallingly filthy. He had a rag on his head and a t-shirt on with the arms cut out. You could actually smell him and he was at the next table. Then to top it off my husband noticed a bug crawling across the table behind me.

This was not what we expected. Unfortunately, we will not be returning anytime soon.

I ate at Crabby's today with my wife...I ordered a plate of Seafood over pasta with a Scampi sauce, Broiled Scallops, and a Seafood Gumbo. The Bartender was very nice. The Scampi was like a Garlic Flavored Oil Slick with over cooked seafood. The Scallops were over cooked and the Gumbo was ok. We returned the Pasta dish, and ate the Scallops and soup because we were dying of hunger. We were afraid to re-order because the cook (Who also doubled as the plumber as he unclogged the ladies room toilet in the middle of his cooking duties)came out to check out who was sending back his food, We didnt want to get "a Brian Oyster" (hock tooey)if you know what I mean. If its Just Crabs you want Go for the All you can eat thing. But any Culinary type food is best left to the real chefs. Also my soup and drink and scallop prices were inflated by and additional dollar on each item...rather than argue we payed and left. $56.00 plus tip for 2 drinks and 2 soups and an over cooked plate of small (quarter sized) scallops....not including our tip. Dont even ask for salad the dont have it....a good seafood lunch with my wife became a dissappointment. I wish I had a better experience to report.
