Last week, on March 30, I held my son's fifth birthday party at the Warwick, RI Chuck E Cheese location. I was so disappointed in the whole experience. When we arrived I placed an order for 5 pizzas for the adults. Only 3 were brought out so 2 tables had to wait another 25 minutes. I wanted soda for the adults and I was told I would have to purchase individual cups for the parents. I was never told that when I booked the party. It was crazy. I had to run back and forth to fill up the children's punch pitchers and to fill the individual cups for the parents because they don't fill up pitchers for the adults. I spent a ton of money just on drinks for the adults. How can you give parents/family pizza and expect them to purchase their own drinks? When the children's pizza came, the cheese and crust was overcooked and hard to chew. We had to give the crispy parts to adults and give the children some of the adult pizza that wasn't burnt. The tokens were brought out just before the pizza had come, so most parents had already purchased tokens and had been playing for 45 minutes. The waitress did not do much of anything. I was so disappointed. It was chaotic and crazy. At the end, I was told that we had to move. We hadn't opened the presents. They said there was a party coming in at 4pm (ours was at 2pm) and we could open presents if we could get it done in 10 minutes- per the manager. We were there until 5:30 and the 4 o'clock party never happened. I was not really happy with any aspect of the party except that my son who turned 5 enjoyed himself because he was able to play games and ride rides- which I guess is the lure for parents. Many of my son's friends' parents were so disappointed in our party that they were going to tell friends that were thinking of having a party there not to. I can't tell you how disappointed I was- then to receive a bill for almost $400, I felt as if I was robbed, because I didn't get much for the money but a lot of work for myself. I felt as if I should get paid. I wanted the party at Chuck-E-Cheese so I wouldn't have as much to do as if I had the party at home. I worked as hard as if I was at home. I hope your practices get better and the waitresses are told to help with the party. Our waitress certainly did not wait on our party of 15 children and about 30 adults.
Lunch on Saturday afternoon, had individual pizza. I am visiting from Houston, TX and can find much better pizza in Texas. Very skimpy on sauce, toppings and the crust was burnt. Tables and chairs were dirty. Seemed like the third string of players
